| Minder says drugged Britney 'out of control'
THE bodyguard who gave damning evidence against Britney Spears at her custody hearing has revealed how the singer's drug-taking and weird behaviour made him fear for the safety of her children. It was the testimony of Tony Barretto that was crucial in a judge ordering Spears to undergo drug testing twice a week. The 200cm former private eye, who was one of several bodyguards hired when Spears checked out of a rehabilitation clinic in March, revealed that Spears had overdosed in a hotel room with lover Howie Day soon after leaving rehab, had been under the influence of drugs while looking after her children, had snorted cocaine over two nights at a Los Angeles nightclub and had considered suicide after her split from husband Kevin Federline had reduced her to hysterical bouts of screaming and sobbing.
MAKING THE SCENE
Tenjune 26 Little W. 12th St., (212) 624-2410, tenjunenyc.com It was business as usual when Tenjune's subterranean lair celebrated its first anniversary earlier this month. Ashlee Simpson and honorary DJ Pete Wentz canoodled in a corner while LL Cool J and Ja Rule rocked the mike. Diddy sat wrapped in a cocoon of guards, virtually unnoticed by 350-plus twentysomethings just back from the Hamptons. Here's a glimpse of what it looks like in Tenjune on one of those star-studded nights: When LL Cool J's not rhyming on the dance floor, he's holding down table 405 next to where Britney Spears sat at a February appearance days before going nuts. She allegedly had a streak last winter where she was here four nights in a row. Owners Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm hold court at table 101 across the room near another slightly elevated, horseshoe-shaped VIP area.

Pamela Anderson and Denise Richards are considering an offer from Playboy magazine to post nude for $1 million. Hugh Hefner apparently wants the pair to pose together for the January 2008 edition of Playboy. A source told Globe magazine the pair hadn't committed to the spread "but they're seriously considering it". Both Anderson and Richards have appeared in Playboy before. Anderson has appeared nude in the magazine a record 12 times, while Richards stripped for the December 2004 issue. The pair became good friends while filming the movie Blonde and Blonder together.
