| Jessica Biel turns down Wonder Woman role
Jessica Biel has turned down the chance to star as Wonder Woman in superhero film Justice League of America. Biel was earlier reported to be in talks to star in the film, but according to Entertainment Weekly, the deal has broken down, reports Moviehole. Movie bosses at Warner Bros. are still looking to fill up are that of Superman, Batman, the Flash and Aquaman. George Miller is already on board as director, with the script being penned by Kieran and Michele Mulroney. The studio, in the meanwhile, has declined to comment on whether Biel is a part of the cast or not, saying that it prefers to announce an entire cast rather than piecemeal deals. Joel Silver is producing the superhero flick. However, not expected to join the cast are Christian Bale and Brandon Routh -- Warner's reigning Batman and Superman, respectively.

Actress Jessica Biel has decided not to play Wonder Woman in an upcoming live-action version of "Justice League of America." Warner Bros. is planning a big-screen adaptation of the DC Comics adventure which brings many of the world's most beloved superheroes together under one title. "Happy Feet" director George Miller is expected to direct the film, which is now in the initial phases of casting. Biel had been in talks to play Wonder Woman, but decided not to pursue the role, Entertainment Weekly has reported. The "7th Heaven" actress is now working on the big-screen drama "Powder Blue" with Forest Whitaker. .

The I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry star - who is dating Justin Timberlake - is said to be in talks with film bosses to star as the sexy superhero in a movie version featuring the Justice League of America, a crime fighting superhero team featured in DC comics. A representative for Jessica, 25, said: "It's too early to confirm the deal will go ahead." Warner Bros also refused to comment on Jessica's involvement in the movie. 'Babe' director George Miller will helm the live-action film which is based on the comic book which brings Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman together, along with a host of other DC superheroes. Jessica is currently shooting Powder Blue with Oscar-winning actor Forest Whitaker and Ray Liotta.
