Natalie Portman's nude scene.

Portman stripped off for her latest role in Wes Anderson's new short film, Hotel Chevalier. Portman's naked turn has caused a stir on the internet, with browsers frustrated in trying to find pictures of the scene.

The pic was free to iTunes customers if you sign up. Anderson calls the 13-minute short Part 1 of his new feature film, The Darjeeling Limited, starring Owen Wilson and Adrien Brody. But it seems like a clever promo for Apple's iTunes. To download the free flick, people have to give their credit card details to the iTunes shop.

Natalie Portman is sexy and naked in “Hotel Chevalier”

Natalie Portman is sure a hot Hollywood lady. She will play nude in a short film. "Hotel Chevalier" (directed by Wes Anderson) is a 17-minute short film which takes place in one room of a French hotel (Hotel Chevalier) and serves as some sort of short epilogue to one (heartbreaking) love story and as prologue to another emotional quest for truth and brotherly love told by the much-hyped and eagerly awaited "The Darjeeling Limited" starring Owen Wilson, Adrian Brody and Jason Schwartzman. "The Darjeeling Limited" tells the story of three American brothers who have not been on the best of terms in years and who decide to set off on a train journey which carries them across India with a plan to find them selves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. And, as it is only natural, each of them brings a whole world of memories and haunting personal woes and longings into the mix, but none more sensual and visually provocative as the moments acted out by Schwartzman and Portman in the prelude which is "Hotel Chevalier".

Wes Anderson's prologue to "The Darjeeling Limited" starring Jason Schwartzman and Natalie Portman is now available on iTunes. And yes, it's free. The short will screen in select Apple stores and will be available on iTunes for the time being. The short, for now, will not be seen before "The Darjeeling Limited" when it hits theaters initially. Fox Searchlight may add the short film to prints later on during the film's release, however.

Having seen both "Hotel Chevalier" and "The Darjeeling Limited," I side on the argument that this short should be seen in conjunction with the film. It makes the inside jokes to "Hotel Chevalier" more relevant when you watch "The Darjeeling Limited" later on.

Sobieski back from hiatus

Imagine the screaming sound an agent makes when a twentysomething actress announces she's going to waste her prime Hollywood years getting an education.

Such was the case with Leelee Sobieski (Eyes Wide Shut, Joan of Arc), who put her career on hold for three years to get a degree from Brown University in 2005. I suggest to her that she, Claire Danes and Jodie Foster are the big three who have gone this route.

"Oh c'mon," says Sobieski, who co-stars with Tricia Helfer in the Canadian S&M caper comedy Walk All Over Me. "There are lots more." She thinks about it. "Um, Natalie Portman, Julia Stiles ..."

Okay, that's five.

Add another year during which she "lived with an ex-boyfriend and kinda became a housewife for a year in L.A. That was a crazy experience," and you have an actress who's had a lot of lost time to make up for.
