Ozzy sells 'The Osbournes' mansion to Aguilera

London, September 24 : Rock star Ozzy Obbourne has sold his Beverly Hill mansion to pop star Christina Aguilera for 5.9 million dollars.

The house was made famous on the reality TV show 'The Osbournes', based on the rocker's family. The 'Black Sabbath' star, his wife Sharon, and their children will now move to a new home in Hidden Hill near Los Angeles.According to the Sun, the family has spent 6.2 million dollars on their new house.Osbourne's new home comes with six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and swimming pool. The newspaper also reports that the rocker's new neighbours include Bond Girl Denise Richards, 'Friends' star Matt Le Blanc, and Lisa Marie Presley.

Stars line up for Rome film fest

Dozens of the world's most popular movie stars plan to travel to Italy next month for the second annual Rome Cinema Festival.
Slated to appear during the eight-day film series are Sophia Loren, Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley, Halle Berry, Monica Bellucci, Sharon Stone, Robert Redford, Tom Cruise and Sean Penn, the Italian news agency, ANSA, reported Friday.
The festival is scheduled to run from Oct. 19-27 and will feature screenings of movies from 40 different countries, including: "Elizabeth: The Golden Age," "El Pasado," "Juno," "Lions for Lambs," "Before The Devil Knows You are Dead," "Silk," "Reservation Road," "Mongol," "Things We Lost in the Fire," "Le Deuxieme Souffle" and "Youth Without Youth."
Fourteen of the movies will compete for the top Marcus Aurelius prize.


Many stars to shine at Rome film festival

Many world famous film stars including Sophia Loren, Sharon Stone and Tom Cruise will light up this year's second edition of the Rome Cinema Festival, organizers said Thursday.

Among the starts are also Cate Blanchett, Keira Knightley, Halle Berry, Monica Bellucci, Robert Redford and Sean Penn.

Blanchett will be the first to hit the red carpet on Oct. 19 in a reprise of her acclaimed 1998 Elizabeth I portrayal in visionary Indian director Shekhar Kapur's Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Loren will bring the curtain down on Oct. 27 as she receives a career achievement award, Italian News Agency ANSA said on Thursday.

In between, an array of would-be blockbusters and more arty fare from 40 countries will bid to draw at least as many viewers as the half million spectators the inaugural edition attracted.

Sharon Stone has been signed on to star in Five Dollars a Day. Also appearing in the movie will be Christopher Walken, Lois & Clark star Dean Cain, along with Allesandro Nivola, Amanda Peet and Peter Coyote. In the movie, Walken plays Nat, a grifter father who prides himself on living like a king on five dollars a day.

He enlists the companionship of his son Flynn, to be played by Nivola for a cross-country odyssey that proves to be quite humorous and poignant. Along the way Nat plans a sting on his old partner, played by Coyote, a wealthy guy who stole Nat's wife many years ago. Stone stars as Nat's old girlfriend Dolores. .
