Reese Witherspoon leaves Hollywood for South Carolina?

In the wake of filing for divorce from husband Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon has reportedly abandoned Hollywood and moved to Charleston, South Carolina with her two children.

Reese was born in Louisiana and after a brief stint overseas as small child, was raised in Tennessee before moving to California at 18.

But now according to the New York Post, Reese is "disgusted with both marriage and Hollywood."

"[She] believes firmly in her Southern roots. She has taken her children and moved to Charleston, S.C. Both kids are said to be in public school there."

A source claiming to be a friend of Reese's also told In Touch Weekly magazine that Reese is finding her split from Ryan to be harder than she thought and while they still speak several times a week, their conversations are strictly limited to their children, Ava and Deacon: "She's being civil to him, but she's built walls."

The friend added that Reese is trying to put the past behind her but isn't ready to start thinking about dating anyone else just yet: "It's a million miles away from her thoughts."

Kate Moss' perfume plans

The supermodel has allegedly signed a deal with Coty, the same fragrance producer who has helped Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, The Beckhams and Gwen Stefani create their own signature fragrances.

According to Brazilian gossip website Glamurama, Coty has so far refused to confirm any details of the deal.

If the proposed deal does go ahead it will be just the latest side project for Kate who has just begun designing her own fashion range for British high street chain TopShop.

Another model soon to be lending her face to a fragrance is Gisele Bundchen.

The Brazilian beauty has signed a multi-million dollar contract with Cacharel to represent a new perfume launching next year.

Shoppers spot good deals

RALEIGH -- Retailers say the day after Christmas is becoming one of their busiest times of the year -- even ranking up there with Black Friday and the Saturday before Christmas.

The biggest reason is because of the discounts. Several stores in the Triangle are reducing their prices Tuesday and shoppers who took advantage of the deals say it was worth it.

Sweaters, shoes and jewelry -- no matter where you turn, you're bound to spot a deal.

"Ornaments, purses, clothes, everything's on sale," said Katie Medlin, a teenager who was out shopping with her mom, Pam Medlin.

The Medlins shopped at Hudson Belk for the department store's after Christmas "door-buster" sale.

Its not too bad right now. Everybody has been very friendly this morning, said Pam Medlin.

Theron and Bateman set for 'Tonight, He Comes'.

Production Weekly says that Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman will star opposite Will Smith in director Peter Berg's superhero drama, Tonight, He Comes, from Columbia Pictures.

Smith plays a down-and-out superhero who has a bad image with the public because he causes a lot of collateral damage while he solves crime, and he's an alcoholic. Bateman plays a corporate public relations consultant, who after being rescued by Smith tries to repay him by revamping his image. But while Bateman is trying to repair Smith's reputation the superhero is secretly romancing Bateman's alluring wife played by Theron.

Shooting will start early May in Los Angeles. The studio is targeting a July 2, 2008 release. .

What's your shade of 'Grey?'

ABC's hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" is just what the doctor ordered. Not only does the third-season series have some of the most evolved and complex heroines on television, but the writing is riveting and addictive. The latter might explain why the network gambled with the Emmy-nominated program's success, moving it to 9 p.m. Thursdays to compete with CBS' highly rated "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

So far, the risk has paid off. "Grey's" anchors one of the strongest lineups in primetime, toppling "CSI" with an average of 22 million viewers, vs. the forensic drama's 20 million. In fact, "Grey's" installment last week grabbed 24 million fans, launching it to the top of Nielsen Media's ratings charts in every category.

Enough about the numbers. Instead, let's focus on those starlets - Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Addison (Kate Walsh), Bailey (Chandra Wilson), Cristina (Sandra Oh), Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Callie (Sara Ramirez) - who make this show shine. - CD and DVD Replication - Sources of Entertainment in Australia
