LOS ANGELES (December 18, 2006) -- No wonder Jim Carrey looks like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. That's his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy playing tonsil-hockey with Santa Claus. Guess she's been a very good girl this year. In truth, Carrey was actually in a jovial Christmas mood, hosting a holiday party to benefit the Los Angeles Fire Department's Spark of Love toy drive this weekend. Carrey and his daughter, Jane, along with McCarthy, and her son, Evan, headed up the event which brought in almost 500 guests and twice as many toys for needy area children. Among those attending were film director Ron Howard, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Cuba Gooding Jr., Morgan Freeman and pugilist Pauly Shore. The event featured ice-skating for the blade-challenged as well as performances from ice superstars Sasha Cohen and Surya Bonaly.

She plays Vanessa, an Iraqi war veteran who loses her hand in battle. Coming home, she adjusts not only to a prosthetic but to the distance she feels from her boyfriend and family. So, we won't be talking about bikini lines and ab workouts in this interview. Crave Online: What response have you gotten from veterans who've seen the film so far?Jessica Biel: I haven't really spoken to many veterans who have seen the film yet honestly.
